Bill Ryder

Principal Podiatrist

Bill grew up in Wagga Wagga before following in his brother’s footsteps studying a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine (Honours) at Charles Sturt University in Albury. During this time he was afforded the opportunity to research the biomechanics of the lower limb giving him a rich understanding on its complexities and patterns.

After working with Jordan from afar, Bill and his wife moved back to the Wagga Wagga region at the beginning of 2024, excited to bring his expertise and years of experience in the podiatry field to the region.

Bill’s professional life started working along the mid north coast of New South Wales before transitioning to a fast paced clinic in the Illawarra. His roles have provided him experience in working with a broad range of clients ranging from professional athletes to the weekend warriors and everything in between. He loves the diversity which podiatry offers and has a particular interest in working with sports related injuries as well as the disability sector.

Bill implements the latest technology that Wagga Podiatry Plus has to offer to treat both musculoskeletal and dermatological issues. He is extremely proud as these options that ensure that the people of the region of Wagga Wagga are able to access first class treatment without having to go to a capital city. He is an expert in assessing, diagnosing, and formulating a treatment plan to keep clients moving.

Bill currently sits on the external advisory committee for Charles Sturt University with a number of industry leaders which allows him to stay up to date with any of the latest changes within the profession.

Outside of work, Bill is a lover of all sports and is involved locally in both rugby league and basketball at a community level. He also has a history of competing in triathlons, enjoys running and kite flying.
